Troubleshooting

Use this page to separate product state issues from broker/account/data issues.

The terminal is hard to use on mobile

The full terminal is desktop-first. Use a desktop or laptop browser for multi-chart layouts, side panels, manual trading, and broker workflows.

A shortcut does not work

Click the terminal or active chart once, then retry. Shortcuts are disabled while focus is inside inputs, dropdowns, modals, or editable fields.

A side panel opens slowly

Some panels hydrate on hover/open to avoid loading every broker and watchlist resource on terminal route entry. Open the panel and wait for the loading state to finish.

A broker value looks wrong

Open the broker account detail page and compare against your broker. The broker is the source of truth for balances, fills, positions, restrictions, and order status.

A watchlist field is missing

Some fundamentals, gauges, logos, forecasts, and quote fields are not available for every symbol or asset class. Missing data usually means the upstream source does not provide it for that symbol.

A manual order was rejected

Review the trade ticket preview, order status, broker account, market hours, buying power, account permissions, and broker restrictions. Broker-side rejection can happen after Astral validation passes.

A deployed strategy is not firing

Confirm the deployment mode, notification profile, strategy state, broker/account state if connected, and whether the rule actually triggered in current market data.

A shared Explore item did not import

Confirm you are signed in, open the strategy/indicator detail page, then use the copy/save/import action again. Public viewing and authenticated importing are different paths.

Reset path for confusing state

  1. Save any work you care about.
  2. Refresh the route.
  3. Reopen the panel or modal.
  4. Verify the active symbol/account/strategy.
  5. Compare broker/account data against the broker directly if live money is involved.
  6. Contact support with the route, action, symbol/account, and approximate time if the issue persists.
